Installation & Operating Instructions for the FlushDaddy Dual Flush Cistern Valve:
1 ½” or 2” Basket /Overflow:
If the installation requires a 1 ½” Valve (or Syphon) first exchange the basket/overflow ofthe 2” Valve by twisting it off the bayonet and then replacing it with the alternative 1 ½” one provided.
Mounting Flush Valve:
Install the Flush Valve with the seal washer into the outlet of the cistern. Adjust the orientation of the valve ensuring the cable and switch box can reach the push button without impediment then secure the valve to the cistern.
Remove the mounting nut from the 1 ½” or 2” mounting assembly whenever necessary during assembling.
Mounting Push Button:
After mounting the push button on the cistern lid or wall, extend the button’s spring loaded shaft by pressing in the button, then push the shaft fully into the switch box up to the thread. Make sure there is no interference to the flushing cable with the flush valve or fill valve and that a correct flushing action is achieved. The shaft can be removed from the switch box by depressing the release catch.
Dual Push Button:
For flush mounting the button se the large nut to secure it. For surface mounting the button use the chrome collar and small 15mm nut provided. Rubber grommets are supplied for any misfitting.
